In the year 1998 the company “Willmann & Pein GmbH” was founded. The idea for start up with “W & P” was to create an own label.
Since many years both companies are producing light curing composites, temporary cements, A-Silicones, glas-ionomer-cements, prophylaxis and bleaching materials, LiWa and different other products. We are an ambitious company which always pursuits the target of develop innovative products that comes up to the customers satisfaction. The distribution of the products takes place under own trade mark in more than 80 countries all over the world.
All products of both companies are subject of strict quality control according to DIN 13485:2012.
C-Bond is a bonding for the total-etch-technique with an excellent adhesion to dentin and enamel. C-Bond ensures a safe adhesion between the tooth and composites. The material shows a good flowable consistency and is easy to use. C-Bond also adheres on glass-ionomer linings.
C-Bond Self-Etch is a self-etching, light-curing one-component bonding for adhesive restorations. The material contains methacrylate. Using C-Bond Self-etch saves time, as the application is in one step, without prior etching.
Glass Liner is a light-curing, flowable, radiopaque glass-ionomer lining material. Glass Liner can be used as a liner under any filling material, for extended fissure sealing and for the treatment of smaller lesions. Glass liner is thixotropic and thereby easy to handle. Also, it contains fluorides which remineralize the tooth enamel.
Calcident 450 is a paste containing 45 % of calcium hydroxide based on water. The material is recommended for direct and indirect pulp capping and for temporary root canal sealing. Calcident 450 is radiopaque and has a pH-value of 12, which is responsible for the antibacterial effect. Also, Calcident 450 is biocompatible and gentle to the pulp.
P-Cem is a self-curing, eugenol-free, provisionary luting cement. It contains calcium hydroxide and hydroxyl apatite. The paste/paste system is delivered in tubes and allows for a flexible dosage and a fast mixing per hand. A thin layer suffices for a safe luting of the temporary crown. The cured material allows for a safe temporary luting. At the same time, the material remains elastic so it is easy to remove. As P-Cem is free of eugenol, it does not impede subsequent adhesive luting or the curing of composite materials.
Dent-a-cav is a temporary close-up material, which is delivered as a ready to use paste, in white or pink. Dent-a-cav adheres to enamel and dentin, shows a very good marginal fit and can be easily removed with a probe. Dent-a-cav is gentle to the pulp and the gingiva. Also, thanks to its resistance against chewing pressure, Dent-a-cav allows for a safe close-up. And, as it contains no eugenol, Dent-a-cav does not impede subsequent composite fillings. The material is self-curing and quick hardening inside the cavity is guaranteed.
Competence universal is a light-cure micro-hybrid composite for restorations of all cavity classes. Competence universal is very agreeable to handle because it does not stick to the instruments and at the same time adapts very well to the cavity walls. The composite shows a very low shrinkage. Competence universal generates esthetic results because it is high gloss polishable and translucent. Thanks to its high strength and outstanding esthetics, Competence Universal is suitable for veneers.
Competence Hight Class is a light curing monocomponent-composit based on BIS-GMA for all cavity-classes.
The level of stability, resistance against abrasion, colour stability and the excellent polishing properties distinguish this product. The translucent Vita*-shades enables aesthetic enamel-looking results. Competence HC is available as a kit or single refills. Can be combined with Competence Flow.
Competence Flow is a flowable, light-curing composite for direct restorations of the cavity classes III, IV and V as well as repairs of bis-acrylate materials. Competence Flow is thixotropic, which makes it ageeable to handle. The composite does not run away from the place of application but is fluid when manipulated. Competence Flow is also nicely polishable and delivers esthetic restorations. The shrinkage is 1,7 %, which reduces secondary caries. The material is radiopaque.
Securafil is a glass ionomer cement for direct restorations of the cavity classes III and V, tunnel preparations and for deciduous teeth. It may also be used as fissure sealant. Securafil bonds well to enamel and dentine, is self-curing and can be polished after 15 min. The Cement is radiopaque and releases fluoride into the tooth. Securafil is available as a flexible powder/liquid system in two different shades.
Securafix is a glass ionomer cement for the permanent fixing of crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, posts and orthodondic bands. Securafix adheres well to dentin and releases fluoride into the tooth. Securafix is self-curing and radiopaque. It is available as a flexible powder/liquid system.
Aquafluor is a clinically tested fluoride varnish based on a watery acrylate resin. Aquafluor is recommended for the fluoridation and treatment of sensitive teeth and tooth necks. The emulsion is air-drying and builds an adhering film that absorbs moisture and releases fluoride for up to 24 hours. Thanks to this behavior, small concentrations of fluoride suffice for an optimal fluoridation. When the varnish is completely soaked, the fluoride release stops and the varnish matrix dissolves from the tooth. Aquafluor contains 0,15 % pure fluoride.
Fisseal is a light-cure composite for fissure sealing. The material helps prevent caries in the occlusal surfaces. A particular production technique ensures that the material adjusts very well to the fissures. This guarantees long lasting fissure sealing. Fisseal is available in two variants, transparent and white. The white material additionally strengthens the enamel by continuously releasing fluoride.
