NTI – Kahla GmbH

NTI-Kahla is a German mid-sized company that specializes in the production of rotary dental instruments.

For more than 20 years, dental professionals have appreciated the quality of our products in their daily work. New innovative products have been introduced such as the EasyChamfer burs – diamonds which allow optimal deep chamfer preparations – or the Z-cut diamonds for processing zirconia just to name two successful examples. NTI continuously strives to offer new rotary dental solutions to facilitate the everyday work.

Our headquarters with the recently inaugurated logistic center and the production facilities is located in Kahla, 10km south of Jena, in the heart of Thuringia. From here we supply high-quality dental products throughout Germany and into more than 100 countries all over the world.

Diamond Instruments

NTI offers more than 400 different diamond instruments in up to 6 different grit sizes for every situation in dental practice.

Our product line for the dental practice contains all standard shapes from round, bud, egg and knife edge to flame, taper, torpedo and cylinder. In addition to these shapes, the line also comprises depth markers, reducers, palatal and periodontal instruments as well as the particularly tiny Kiddies for the minimally invasive preparation. By means of continuous exchange of information with dentists and dental technicians worldwide, conventional diamond instruments for cavity and chamfer preparation, depth marking and diamond strips have been improved further. Torpedo or tapered diamond burs have been further developed to the EasyChamfer. Another specialty is the InPrep which significantly simplifies the inlay and cavity preparation while saving valuable working time in dental practice.

NTI diamond strips are available in 8 different designs and 3 different grits. In addition, we offer some strips also with a serrated edge.

Tungsten Carbide Burs

NTI tungsten carbide burs are precision instruments with high cutting capacity and long service life. In our product line you will find a wide selection of round burs, pear and cylinder shapes, egg shapes and various tapered instruments. This wide range allows for individual selection in the dental practice.

With the existing variety of shapes, special coatings and different blade configurations the most diverse work can be carried out in the dental practice, such as cavity preparation, crown preparation and crown cutting, but also preparation of fillings, including removal of old fillings. Further fields of application are root canal preparation and root smoothing. Our carbide burs are also used in special areas, such as orthodontics, implantology and crown and bridge technology.

Due to their high cutting capacity blade configuration our excavation burs are ideally suited for caries removal. The special blade geometry provides an extremely low vibration cutting. The slim neck allows a good view to the working area.

In addition, we offer a wide range of crown cutters for all dental materials. In the field of orthodontics, you will also find perfectly adapted instruments for the removal of bracket adhesives, such as the specially coated instrument T21RX which is very popular among orthodontists.

Polishers

NTI polishers are made of the highest quality raw materials and are specially designed for polishing the different dental materials. The NTI polishing system CeraGlaze achieves outstanding results in polishing all ceramics and zirconia. The special bonding with integrated diamond particles ensures a perfect surface finish. For the polishing of composite fillings, you will find the largest selection of composite polishers by far, from the single use polisher FlexiPol, the one-step system Unique or the BrushGloss brushes with incorporated silicon carbide polishing particles, up to the two-step system DiaGloss. In our product range you will also find the widely used Greenie and Brownie polishers (NTI EpsiPol), which are suitable for polishing gold, amalgam and composite.

The use of the most diverse materials in the dental practice results in the continuous expansion and further development of our already extensive range of polishing systems. Whether for the polishing zirconia, ceramics, composites, veneering materials, amalgam, precious and semi-precious alloys, prosthetic acrylics or cement, you will find the suitable polishers in various polishing steps such as pre-polishing, shine polishing and high gloss polishing as well as contouring and finishing.

The variety of shapes of NTI dental polishers ranges from flames, points, cups, knife-edges to various brushes, just to name a few.
